Louis P. Moiani, Managing Director, Technology and Marketing Communications
for Luxcore, Ltd., was formerly Chief Operating Officer of Parallel Communications
where he developed the marketing message, sales strategy and implemented
the successful launch of an innovative paging technology.
Prior to joining Parallel Communications, he was Chief Operating Officer
of Hudson Soft, Inc. a multimedia interactive software developer. There
he represented the North and Latin American interests of Hudson Company
Ltd.These included securing current licensed properties from Disney, MCA,
Universal Studios, Major League Baseball Players Association and others.
He serves as
a voting member for the Software Publishers Industry and corporate spokesman
for the US subsidiary and Japanese parent corporations.
He is a specialist in developing and defining marketing initiatives and
programs focused on technology: he has successfully launched technological
products in the electronics, telecommunication, multimedia and EDI sectors.
In this capacity he has worked with SPARTA, Inc. and KPMG to identify
the optimal sectors and message for the deployment of SPARTA's SecurEC™ product
line; Hudson Soft in the overall development, marketing, licensing and
subsequent distribution of their multimedia titles; Dynasty Capital for
the identification
and packaging of technology start-ups; .comfax™ to
develop the market message and market sectors and counsel the President
concerning
staffing and operation needs.
He is a participating member of the SIIA software-voting panel, Charter
member of the ICSA, Cryptography Consortium, Lifetime Member of the
Society of Audio Consultants, Advisory Board member for the University of
Maryland
Baltimore Campus incubator program, past member of the VSDA advisory
board and speaker at numerous technology trade shows.
He received his masters Degree in Business Administration from American
University. He also earned a bachelors degree in Music Education from
Combs College in Philadelphia and an Associates Degree in Electrical
Engineering from Capitol Radio and Engineering in Washington DC and
is the first person to complete the Masters certificate program in Technology Commercialization
at the University of Maryland.
